The floral crown, handcrafted for the session, added another meaningful layer. It honored Frida’s signature look and her pride in her Mexican heritage.
Every detail in the set was chosen with care. From the embroidered blanket to the tiniest props (including the tiniest and most adorable clip-on earrings), our in-house set artists built something that felt layered and alive. The final result had a bold richness, full of texture and meaning. This gallery wouldn’t have looked out of place hanging in the LACMA, and we’d like to think Frida would’ve approved too.

This baby girl was calm and content from the start. Wrapped in soft florals and surrounded by color, she peacefully moved through each setup as our team captured it all. In one image, she’s tucked into a woven basket framed by bright blooms. In another, she’s perched on a miniature leather armchair, a Mexican shawl draped over her shoulder just as Frida herself might have worn it.
