Baby Violet

Clients always ask me how much or how little input they have in the background and color choices for their photo session.  The answer is as much or as little as they would like.  I would say that 99% of clients trust in my creative vision and let me have free reign once I have seen the clothing they have brought, met the baby and have “felt out” the parents’ style.  Violet’s mom, however, asked for  black backgrounds, simple shots, with not much color – and I was happy to oblige her.  Violet’s mom is an emerging photographer, and we had so much fun talking “shop” during the session!  Oh, yea – I put little Violet on the seasonal session at the end just to have some fun…. even though they were colorful – mom loved those shots too!
