The Parent’s Photography Crash Course!
This one-day crash course in photography will teach you the A-Z’s of taking great photos of your kids! We’ll go over everything you need to know – from using your camera, picking the best light and how to compose a great shot! Then we’ll go through the essentials of digital workflow, including: importing, editing, organizing and backing up your photos. It is a fun filled day that will get you up and running with your camera like a pro! $500 per attendee, or $350 for the Beginner’s Class and $175 for the Digital Workflow Class if purchased separately. Beginner’s Photography Workshop for Parents, 10am – 2pm
Have you purchased a DSLR camera in the hopes of taking great photos of your kids, but feel overwhelmed and frustrated when you try to use it! Here’s the answer for you!! This one-day beginners class taught by Erika of The Pod Photography will teach you everything you need to know in order to get up and running with your camera and finally capture some great shots of your kids!
You will learn with hands-on instruction to see the best light in every situation, finally be able to take your camera out of “auto,” learn to instantly fix your photos when they are too dark or bright and much, much more! The camera doesn’t leave your hands on this fun-filled day of lessons and real-world shooting exercises. Catered lunch and manual of the material covered are included, $350 per student.
Digital Workflow and Adobe Lightroom Workshop, 3-5pm
Do you love taking photos but have no idea how to fix them when they are dark and feel clueless as to how to organize and properly manage your photos? Than this is the workshop for you! You’ll get answers to the most important questions of all: how to manage, back-up, edit, and archive your precious photos. You will learn the best practices for organizing your digital images as well as how to edit, fix, crop, create cool effects and share your photos using Adobe Lightroom. You will also create an archive of your images that is categorized and searchable so that you can actually find all the photos that you take! That means no more dumping photos on your computer never to see or print from them again! You’ll need a laptop with a free or trial version of Adobe Lightroom installed the day of the workshop.
$175 per student or $150 when you enroll in both the Beginners’ class and Digital Workflow classes together.
