The Janie & Jack Sessions

I had a blast spending two days photographing baby after baby at the Manhattan Beach Janie and Jack store last week!  It was a fun challenge for me since Janie & Jack is very strict about wanting only a white background with little to no props – which, as anyone who has ever met me or seen my website knows – I LOVE color and I love fun sets.  However, I learned that by minimizing the set I worked even harder to get great expressions out of the kids and it was kind of fun relying entirely on dialogue and the every-so-popular “peek-a-boo” from behind the camera to get those genuine smiles.  Thanks for having me J&J!
