“Secret Garden” was the theme for Paige Lauren Baby’s Summer collection photo shoot. We were on location at a fabulous home in Encino for the shoot – and had eight little models! Most of the babies were not old enough to stand (some couldn’t even sit up!) so taking pictures of the backs of the garments proved to be a little bit tricky. It was also a little bit funny / frustrating that many of the kids didn’t want to touch their bare feet to the moist and rocky ground. The moms kept trying to put them down and the babies would raise their feet like little frogs and scream in rebellion. The designer wanted a natural, barefooted feel – so there was nothing to do except try multiple spots of ground until their sensitive little toes found an acceptable spot! And yes, I was exhausted by the end of the 6 hour shoot!
