Goodbye California!

The Haglin family is moving to Texas – a sad thing for the studio since we have photographed the family and baby Preston several times in his first year of life.  When we met up with the family for a “farewell to California” photo shoot at the beach – baby Preston’s 1st birthday was the next day and I think that we were are feeling a little bit introspective with the closing of this chapter of their lives – Well, with the exception of little Mr. Preston, that is.  He was such a ball of crawling energy and we did everything we could to just get him to sit still!  He wanted so desperate to crawl by himself on the lifeguard stations and was terribly upset when his parents held his hand and wouldn’t let him get close to the edge.  Being a baby and trying to assert your independence can be very frustrating!
