Pirate Party in Malibu

Wowza, was this party fun and theme filled!  Main pirate Preston (aka the birthday boy) stayed in character with a painted beard and his trusty balloon sword by his side from start to finish during his party.  everything he said was “ahoy” “matey” and I’m pretty sure I heard a couple of “scallywags!” Even his little sister Ella took the leap and got her face painted (like a princess – which of course is the theme of her September party we’ll also be photographing) and played along with her own pink sword.  My favorite shots of the day are of mother and daughter looking at each other and laughing – that seemed to be the theme of the day: giggles… and this lovely family was full of them!
