When mama maternity decided at the last-minute that she wanted to do shots at the beach, and her session was already scheduled for mid-day, I was hesitant to grant her request. I typically only shoot at the beach at sunset since the light is waaaayyy too harsh to shoot at during the day. However, our fantastic Production Manager, Leah, came with me to the beach and scraggly brush location – armed with a 4×6 foot diffuser and stood holding it to give our couple shade. Leah almost blew away a couple of times, but we got the shots and I’ve actually impressed myself by getting great shots outside with only the shade that we created!
