This family was so much fun to photograph! When I met this Momma, she was so excited because she had always wanted to take professional pictures ever since baby Isadora came along. And, for her birthday, Dad scored some major brownie points and got her a family portrait session!
Knowing that the look we were going for was a fresh, playful and candid feel – and that these portraits were going to be hanging on the walls of their contemporary home – we opted for a soft gray and white color combo.
PodTip: Simple clothing and neutral colors will always give you a classic and timeless feel to your portraits and really showcase the relationship between the family, rather than focus your attention to the latest fashion trend or bold color.
However, speaking of bold colors, it IS really fun to bring in some color pops when it comes to baby’s solo shots – especially if the color is going to highlight baby’s features – like Miss Isadora’s sparkling baby blue eyes!
