The family came to our Studio City team with a vision inspired by their cultural heritage and the theme “Arabian Nights.” From that spark of inspiration, we brought a storybook world to life—no passport required. Their newborn never left the studio, but it felt like we’d all stepped into another land. The session was warm, layered, and filled with custom touches. At The Pod Photography, we love taking an idea and turning it into something that feels deeply personal.
Every Detail Tells a Story
Our Studio City team poured so much love into this set! It started with a rich, textured backdrop that brought in arches and hints of old-world architecture. We layered in patterned rugs and soft pillows to create a cozy space.
Then came the miniature treasures: a baby-sized leather armchair, a tiny backgammon board, decorative lanterns that glowed softly, a genie lamp. Even a mini hookah and brass goblets tucked into the scene. Everything worked together to bring the magic to life. Our custom set artists have an incredible eye for detail and know exactly where to find those one-of-a-kind miniatures that make people stop and ask, “Where did you find that?”
This wasn’t just a themed photoshoot. It was a tribute. A way to reflect the family’s heritage in a way that felt artistic and elegant.

What made this session even more special was that the family didn’t stop at newborn photos. They included everyone, siblings and parents!

Once we finished capturing the bold, colorful Arabian Nights set, we shifted into something soft and timeless for the family portraits. The family wore white and cream tones, and we kept the background simple.
That contrast made the connection between them really stand out. No distractions. Just love, expression, and a sense of calm after the creative buzz of the earlier set.
