It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks here at the studio – It is baby season, party season, and clothing designers are shooting for their Spring 2012 lines – it has been craziness!
Here is a shoot we did for Paige Lauren Baby at the ultra gorgeous Santa Monica Pier Carousel. Pouty models, soft rompers and the bunny carousel horse made this a fantastic morning – yes, we started at 8am!
My idea for the artistic look of the shoot was shot in was: super shallow depth of field – AKA it’s blurry in the background, and then I wanted the kids to glow with light from behind that is reminiscent of a hot Summer day, and the innocence of childhood. I also wanted the images to feel nostalgic – and so we added a custom vintage filter to the images to top the whole thing off!
