November is here, which means our phone has been ringing off the hook! It’s funny how time flies.. it’s like November 1st hits and all of a sudden it’s time to prep for the holidays!
We have been having so much fun getting into the holiday spirit here at the studio before the rest of the world. As a portrait studio, Christmas is literally in July when we offer all of our “early bird specials” and get everything crossed off the list before the stress of the season hits! We do this for a few reasons. The first is that it obviously makes it easier on you when you’re not rushing to get something done last-minute. But it also allows us to meet more amazing families and offer our very best work without being “burnt-out” by taking back-to-back sessions and staying at the studio until midnight designing and rushing orders. By only shooting two (or at the very most, three) sessions per day, we are able to give 100% to each family to make sure that they are getting the five-star experience that we guarantee.
This gorgeous family below has been one of our favorites to photograph for their holiday cards. During our design consultation, we discussed two looks: one look being very holiday inspired (to use for their cards) and the second being a more timeless and classic look (to display in their home year-round). The outcome was perfect – I can’t even decide which look I like better! Baby Hazel was such an expressive little lady – we are so excited to watch her as she grows! Stay tuned in about six months when we’ll be photographing her first birthday cake smash! 🙂
