This little lady is just so pretty! From her tiny little lips to her soft nose there is no doubting that those delicate features belong to a girl… Which is a good thing because this sweet baby’s mama is a girly girl! The story goes that she booked her session with us because she was picking up her order from a previous family shoot with us and saw the Paris Set and said “that’s what I want for my baby girl’s photos.” So we delivered: lace, pearls, angel wings and girlied up this delicate newborn! My favorite series from this newborn session is the angel wings set, she rocks that gold headband!
We love documenting the newborn portrait sessions for our Los Angeles families. Babies under the age of ten days are our specialty and we love posing them in all those cute positions: holding their heads, snuggled in baskets and held in parents arms. Capturing these precious first few days of a baby’s life is such a joy and we love creating meaningful images that our clients will treasure for a lifetime. In order to be able to pose the little ones in all of the sleepy poses that we get them in – it is critical that the babies come for their photo shoot before they are ten days old. The reason for this is that once a baby is about ten days old they are no longer as sleepy and they are interested in the world and everything going on around them. It’s fun for the parents to have a more alert baby, but alert babies don’t really enjoy sleeping in buckets and certainly don’t let me pose them with their cute hands under their chins!
